2025/26 David Moyes

Maybe he thinks we are lining up correctly based on what is happening in the pitch and in training? At the moment we just lack a bit of quality, nothing more or less.

When we come against teams stronger than we are, like City and Spurs, they can nullify our strengths and pick at our weaknesses. When we play the weaker sides it should be easier for us to take advantage of overloads due to coaches trying to mark out Jack and N’Diaye.

Sunderland will be a good game whatever the result as it will show us where we are.

We are doing decently considering Branthwaite has been out all season. I dread to think where we’d be had we listened to those who demanded Keane be kicked to the kerb.
The villa and West Ham games showed us where we are. A dull team unable to be positive against even the weakest opposition.

His management style is stale but slightly effective. It will get you enough points to keep you in the league and around mid-table. Just nothing new or fresh. Same with his signings. Big fellas up front. Unfortunately, ours aren’t very good which limits his game plan as he can’t adapt it.

No whipping boys up from the Championship this year.
Atm thank god for west ham and wolves.
Though im worried now just how we managed to make the atrocious west ham look ok.

Think Grealish needs to come inside and Dibling play from one side and Ndiaye the other. We have zero pace or threat in behind. Grealish and Alcaraz with a sitting midfielder behind them might work.

Ultimately though we have to ditch 4231. I don’t know why we as fans have to be cursed that it’s the only formation we will ever see played. Ever single manager plays in with us and none of them can balance a proper midfield two or find a proper number 10 but we persist with it game after game season after season never ever changing.
