One of the reason's there'll be a full stadium for a PL fixture at all was because Dyche stuck at the task of shouldering an 11 point deduction to keep us safe.

There'd be a Championship game in front of about 25,000 people there in December when this game is scheduled to take place if he hadn't have done his job.
Staying up despite having an 8 point deduction and still going on a 13 game streak with no wins in the league is not indicative of a good manager or the saviour of our club it is indicative of how crap the other teams were that finished below us

To then follow that with 1 win in 11 games in the league the following season and contributing to our worst ever home record in terms of wins in the clubs history in their last ever season at goodison park is simply incredible management

Just making numbers up again then are we.

Taking us over was a gamble, but I'm surprised at how many think he will struggle at forest (in the short term). Taking over a decent squad and improving on a manager as bad as ange is an absolute dream for any manager

I’m surprised at how many of his fans are setting the benchmark at avoiding relegation for them this season. They mustn’t have a lot of faith in him, for all their bravado. That’s a very expensively assembled squad with bags of pace in the wide areas, centre forwards who know where the net is, one of the most in form deep lying 6’s in the league in Anderson, and a solid defensive partnership with full backs that can get up and down. Strength in depth with the likes of McAtee and Hutchinson barely able to get minutes.

I’m one of his biggest detractors but even I struggle to see how he could finish any lower than around 11th with the team he’s got. Personally think even that fraud Ange wouldn’t have relegated them.

I find it mental how people don’t get these simple truths.
