2025/26 David Moyes

I'd bet my bottom dollar 12-24 months ago every single person at this football club would have thought a "Glasner" was something to do with double glazed windows or was one of those companies who knock on your door in the middle of the afternoon asking if you'd like to buy a conservatory.
I think you may be exaggerating slightly  anyway my basic argument still stands recruiting a new manager should be about looking for individuals who have consistently over achieved and won things.

Palace fans have moaned a fair old bit tbh mate, best players being sold from under the manager, not backing him properly after the cup win, the Textor farce and he has stuck it out. The most impressive thing with him (for me) is that with a fairly average team he has got them competing and winning, playing in a setup which most other managers and pundits don't think works in the PL.
Agreed. Find it bizarre that anyone doesn't rate him given his overall record, i'd swap him for Moyes in a heartbeat.

Not if he begins to get things going then buggers off for a bigger job!
You always run the risk of that with any successful manager I guess, that's why you need a top class DOF picking the managers. Anyway I'm sure we could live with it if we actually won something. I was surprised that no one tried to tempt him away from Palace in the summer.

As a few of us said, leaving Moyes in control of transfers and the 'committee' being him, a bloke to negotiate and the CEO was a clear error.

Moyes mouthing off in the media for the soundbites and to take blame away for his potential failings was the icing on the cake.

Saying he wanted "robust" players and then signing an injury plagued Merlin Role was the cherry on top.

What a mess.

Grealish and KDH slow the game down and just play with one another - its limiting the play. Take Grealish out and KDH does nothing on the ball that frightens the opposition.

Moyes has put the building blocks in for a team that doesnt make any sense at all.

But are they griping about Glassner though he seems to have the same grievances as the palace fans. I've never seen any ite directed at him

The whole saga of 'Moyes being in full control of transfers' is getting very boring now, and just another tool for your blame game.

Of course he will want his say, and will have pushed down hard on some of them.
But the Friedkins will be looking at Angus to structure us for the future. Moyes has got a short term contract, you dont base a forward thinking approach and buying a whole company for a manager that could be gone in 2yrs ( or less if some of you get your way )

We're buying young, we're buying for the future.

Moyes - to the friedkins is an onfield manager.

Angus - is the architect of the future.

He will be the man in charge of sounding out a new coach when it comes to that point, not vice versa.

This isn't the past anymore, this is the start of the future..

Brighton, Brentford, Bournemouth

"Blame game" - how ridiculous and childish.

Angus Kinnear is clearly not in charge of transfers.

It's been documented that Moyes (manager), Hammond (negotiator) and Kinnear (CEO) were the transfer committee.

Kinnear, as publicised quite clearly only signed off on transfers once Hammond had negotiated them.

What on earth do you think Moyes was up to?
