So in the very generous circumstance that Toney scores enough more goals in half a season that we go up two whole places in the league: we break exactly even, still don't make Europe, and waste a bunch of minutes playing someone else's striker instead of developing our own?

That's if his club for some fantasy reason just allow him to leave on loan for funsies.
