Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Hello all. I'm just back from taking my car to get something fixed on it. There was a recall on Ford Kugas - not serious- an IT thing that needed altering. I think it was called the diesel train or something like that! Anyway to my surprise and delight they also washed and hoovered it. Excellent customer service from the Ford dealer.
While I was waiting I had a good look at the new Capri. It's horrible- really ugly. Not a patch on the old ones.
We have a kuga what year was the recall ?

Update my wife has been discharged from the neuro ward and gone to internal med. Her liver has a high value ,and that affected her speech ! The more you know the more you realise how little you do in fact know .
Progress that they have ruled out things and know what they are treating now. Hopefully she isn’t in too long but you have to rest as much as you can in the meantime.

Hope she gets better soon mate. My mother was in the Royal recently with severe water retention and she was in the Acute Cardiac Unit, the staff were superb .

A dull, wet day here. Yesterday was better, we had a long road trip to a small village called Golspie so that Mrsbl could meet a dear friend who’d moved there. It’s a lovely place, right on the other side of the Moray Firth from us , probably 50 miles direct across the sea but a 2 1/2 hour road trip via Inverness. Stunning views in the sunshine made up for the long journey. You’d pass through it in the unlikely event if you ever find yourself driving to JohnO’ Groats.

Sad day today folks. We've just started letting Nacho out following our holidays. He's been OK, coming in for food but mostly wanting to stay outside. Today he got run over and killed. We got a phone call from.a local vet. Somebody had seen it happens, picked him up and took him to the vet. Im so sad, I feel like I've really let him down.
Oh Anj, that’s awful. You did your best by him, took him on when his owner didn’t want to know, you certainly didn’t let him down.šŸ’™

Nothing more you could have done for poor Nacho. You took him in and showed him love which was what he needed. Accidents happen and there is no point blaming yourself one iota.

So sorry to hear but as said by others you have nothing to be sorry for and you certainly didn't let him down .
