I mean payday loans kept the lights on before the takeover and finished the stadium once we couldn’t access our owners cash but the project was started and funded by the bloke who owned but never owned us surely ?
Does make you wonder about all that steel, not least 'cos he has a stake in Tata steel europe. And then, just like that, a little light reading turns up...

I think it was fairly 50/50 tbh, I think Moshiri initially payed for the land and to get the build going but a fair bit of it was from commercial loans then the final bit was TFG, funding was by and large a total mess tbh, we started building a stadium we never really had the money to build.

I just dont buy into the group-think on certain managers. Managers in the case of Dyche (saved us) Martinez (reinroduced this club to football on the deck again) we should be respectful toward.

As I said, thin skinned. I think most are respectful of Dyche and the situation he got us through. In the end he proved that he is a one trick pony. That will only work for so long. Funnilly enough, it is the same argument, in my humble opinion, that can be put to Marinez's Everton, but that is for other threads.

Tbf mate you're a hard club to like with that criminal in charge. Add in the poverty chanting from your fans when we play you and the crap you give us about cheating over PSR (before being done yourself) then it would be peculiar if Everton did like Forest.

And now Dyche is your manager, someone that many of us aren't fans of for various after his spell here.

OK, I am fully confused. I never wrote what you responded to?????

Why has this come up as my post on your response?

Dyche never had a good word to say about Everton. His press confrences were getting absurd. Full of lies about Everton fans. Self promotional clap trap.
He had zero rapport with this fanbase.

The league table does work like that. He’s obviously not going to get them into Europe when he’s picking up a team 9 points behind the team in the qualification spots at the moment. Nice try to set the minimum expectation for him as something extremely improbable now so you don’t end up being wrong.

Suppose it’s one way for you to break your streak of utterly tragic incorrect predictions.

You said he’d be a radio DJ. He’s now taking a PL team and welcoming Porto this week. Tune into the press conferences Mikey, maybe he’ll touch his head in a way you can spin as an insult to Everton fans.
So, for clarity, 9+ pts from the European spots come the end of the season would be a negative outcome, yes?

Well, in the most unEverton way possible, the best outcome was somehow arrived at. A turn in fortune was due tbf.

Don't know what happened there mate, was supposed to be to the Forest fan!

Forest have got a really good squad tbh, they have gone way too early on a damage limitation manager with diabolical football, rather than someone who could deliver a trophy. (Ange was a step too far, but now they have gone way too far in the opposite direction).

Hope they enjoy the turgid garbage they have signed up for.
