To a man they all seem incompetent nowadays, with agendas to boot.

Pawson is probably the worst we could get at the moment.

Very rare we win a Craig Pawson match. Something like 3 out of 20 plus matches. Also awarded us more red cards than any other club in the league (Jagielka v Wolves, Allan v Newcastle, to name a few). So lets hope the new stadium works its magic on him.

Anthony Taylor and Michael Oliver are capable of having good games. Pawson is consistently awful, as are most of the rest. Jarrad Gilet the Australian guy can have the odd decent game as well. However the general standard is appalling because they all think they're part of the entertainment rather than being the virtually invisible presence they should be, and don't get me started on the pally conversations they have on sidelines with the "big club" managers when they are 4th official, it should be outlawed.

Part of the issue is the increase in players cheating. Nearly every player cheats now which makes the referees job much more difficult and they just aren't up to it. It was refreshing to watch Brentford last night, not claiming every throw in that was for West Ham and generally getting on with the game.

….it does annoy that they all appeal when the ball goes out of play even when it’s blatantly obvious they got the last touch. Little things like this could easily be stamped out.
