I watched out local non-league team at the weekend. A sub running the line for the ref, as is usual at that level. At one point his own defenders were appealing for offside as they tore after a striker on the wing. It was a close call and the lino could have easily put the flag up, but their own sub kept his flag down and yelled clearly "no he was definitely on."….it does annoy that they all appeal when the ball goes out of play even when it’s blatantly obvious they got the last touch. Little things like this could easily be stamped out.
He always has us over, especially in Derby’s. Then there’s not many refs who give us a fair gameCraig Pawson is the ref on Sunday. Another incompetent character.

ProbablyWe had a pen in our last home game
Doubt we will be awarded another this decade.
At any moment. Most are poor, but he is the weakest of all.Pawson is probably the worst we could get at the moment.

Brought a tear to my eye to see such honest sportsmanship - I thought it had died. I noticed the ref give a thumbs up to the linesman, after the passage of play petered out into a goal kick. Those things were part of what made the game so enjoyable. That and the ref carding every player that showed dissent.
I used to coach my kids teams that there was absolutely no point in winning a game where you cheat, and would sub off anyone I caught doing it. It wastes everybody's time and effort.
VAR gives them a hiding booth, And the onfield ref the freedom to say the decision has come from above. Are there any referees left that anyone thinks 'he does a decent job?'
To a man they all seem incompetent nowadays, with agendas to boot.
Tony Harrington [Poor language removed] hates us too.Craig Pawson is the ref on Sunday. Another incompetent character.

At the non-league games I watch the ref and Linos always come out last. They inevitably have a stinker in the first half and get dogs abuse from the players and crowd, so they’re about 5 mins behind the players for the 2 nd half . “ Right Lino’s, go and give those nets a tug in case they’ve been tampered with, take your time, let’s keep em all waiting”….we’re due a pen.
Refs have become too powerful, they should never lead the teams into the pitch. Football is about footballers, the officials should follow the players onto the pitch.
