home made chicken wrap, so 2 coated chicken fillets, aoli, lettuce, tomato, coleslaw, rather a large dash of some good hot sauce. carton of cottage cheese to follow. protein-tastic. hot sauce has caused some sweating. More water.

He's also being slightly disingenuous, he didn't slow cook the mash, it appeared like magic, the onion gravy could have used half a glass of red wine in it to really rich it up, and I'd have finely chopped a small white onion to pick up the flavour and fat in the pan after frying off the sausages.
Re the saus, they could have been air fried. I might try this soon.

Following on from yesterdays Roast Beef my next door neighbour today passed across a plate with Roast Lamb, carrot & swede, green beans, roast potatoes and gravy. For afters it was a pancake made with the left-over batter from yesterdays yorkshire pudding with lemon juice which was left over from some rhubarb jam I made yesterday. :D
 
Last night, I danced with the devil... a fiery Sichuan hotpot. Now, here I am at work, professionally dressed but internally battling the aftershocks of that molten feast.

With hours of back-to-back meetings ahead, the bog is but a distant dream. My stomach rumbles like distant thunder, and every polite smile hides a desperate clench. May composure prevail. May the chair survive.
