I read a statistic yesterday that Moyes has never beaten a team that finished in the top 3 from the previous season. That is staggering and clearly shows that both he and we are beaten before these fixtures even kick off.
That stat isn't true though, where did you read it??
We beat United at Goodison a few times in the era where they were winning it or going close every year. One example is the 1-0 win on the first day of the season when Fellani scored a header. Just looked that up and United had finished second on goal difference the season before. There were wins against Man City in that period too - Darren Gibson 1-0, the 2-0 where Jelavic scored late on etc
