New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

Think that's the entrance fee, a free drink when you get there. Then £7 a pint from 19.30 till 00.30 works out a very expensive night out. Then trying to get a cab at 1.00 am, think I will give it a miss.

All inclusive drinks.

Last game i went villa was like that my line was full and the others next was empty. I am in north stand so have walk the way around. Not really sure how works with the tuenstile entrances, was that busy the let fans go into another entrance. That was on the left that lookes like a disabled enteance and manually scanned fans in.
I don't see why they can't just have it so all the entrances for the lower work for anyone with a lower ticket, all the ones for the upper work for anyone with an upper ticket etc. That would also allow people who find the stairs difficult the option to use the escalator as well. I know there will be some health and safety/crowd management issue they'll point to but I think it would self regulate, people wouldn't stand in a massive queue if the next gates empty.

That’s all we need, more gridlock

This is the key issue. There shouldn't be any cars parking west of the Northern Line from the city centre to the stadium.... except those with mobility issues or corporate/membership packages. Fans should be able to get on Shuttle buses from town 15 mins before KO and still get in on time. We've now tried the bus twice, both a full hr before KO, and not made it in before the game.... and afterwards is similar, even after waiting a full hr in ground. The Junctions near Costco and Grt Leeds St were completely locked-up before and after. Friends also tried to get black cabs from town in the last hr before KO, drivers all said it probably wasn't worth trying as much quicker to walk. Proper Bus lanes with priority at lights need to be implemented right into the city centre. Some car drivers will only leave their cars at home when they see buses moving easily to and from the stadium.

For Palace my friend was in 003 and I was in 008, we both used turnstile 12 without issue, I think you can probably enter the ground in different turnstiles as long as it’s for the same section eg lower south for us. The turnstile number probably just a guide to spread people out.

If that's the case if people like myself a good few years, and my son now there going to be running at a loss. I'm 76 and could still get through about 8 pints and a few red wines 😉🍻🍷
At your suggested price of £7 a pint you'd have to get through £38 of wine before you'd broken even on the £94 price of the ticket. I don't think the club will run at a loss on this event.

I'm upper SW and have tried every upper turnstile from the south east to south west. Only my allocated turnstile plus an adjacent one worked, the rest flashed purple with the message 'wrong turnstile'.

the attachment this country and city in particular have to cars is a sickness
You should come to Germany. Here in Berlin, a pedestrian crossing that was installed last year has already been scrubbed from a busy road I cross regularly. You can see the blacked out white lines...
