If he was sold it'd be for a pittance so it's not like we're missing out on any substantial money through a sale. I was told in the summer that he'd turned down moves that were proposed to him, these things aren't always solely down to the club.Harry Tyrer is 23 years of age, done well while out on loan the last two or three seasons but is stuck at Finch Farm doing what? I think he deserves better treatment than that—his contract finishes at the end of next season, if we are not going to use him he should be out on loan this season attracting buyers or he can walk away for nothing at the end of the 2025-26 season.
I know what you mean and from our perspective moves like this do seem a bit weird but it seems to be a standard thing for clubs do for whatever reason. Most clubs seem to have a similar type of player. So although it seems weird it doesn't actually seem to be weird, if that makes any sense. Is he experienced? He's played essentially no PL football at all and the league 1 and league 2 football he's played was uninspiring. Begovic I understood, this was odd.
Can't argue with that but if nobody better was available to bring in and he's a good mentor or something then it is a smart signing on paperIs he experienced? I don’t think Tom King has played many games in the premier league has he?Is he experienced? He's played essentially no PL football at all and the league 1 and league 2 football he's played was uninspiring. Begovic I understood, this was odd.
It's a training thing more than anything. Goalies usually train in a group so they need a handful of them to do...goalkeeper stuff.I know what you mean and from our perspective moves like this do seem a bit weird but it seems to be a standard thing for clubs do for whatever reason. Maybe he turned those clubs, because he thought he was good enough to be the back up keeper, and possibly he thought that he was better staying than going out to clubs in the lower leagues again, although I don’t know which clubs made a bid for him.If he was sold it'd be for a pittance so it's not like we're missing out on any substantial money through a sale. One, I believe. In his entire career. Hardly any in the Championship either, most of his appearances are in league 1 and 2.I don’t think Tom King has played many games in the premier league has he?
It’s second half information so I can’t say it’s definitely right but what I was told (by somebody who could know) is he turned down permanent moves because it’d have been a pay cut, which is perfectly understandable.Maybe he turned those clubs, because he thought he was good enough to be the back up keeper, and possibly he thought that he was better staying than going out to clubs in the lower leagues again, although I don’t know which clubs made a bid for him.
Fair enough, it looks like those clubs were in the lower leagues if they couldn’t match his wages at Everton. It’s second half information so I can’t say it’s definitely right but what I was told (by somebody who could know) is he turned down permanent moves because it’d have been a pay cut, which is perfectly understandable.

I bet you that his debut game in the senior squad’s starting XI, he’ll play an absolute blinder!
