New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

I don’t mind away fans doing it because of stuff like that and I like seeing all the first reactions to the new ground, but otherwise, it’s a no from me

I recorded the penalty yesterday because my girlfriend had to miss the game and she wanted real time updates, otherwise, phone stays in the pocket for all the game (bar HT)
I wasn't making accusations! I realised you posted somebody else's video.

Had first taste of hospitality at the new place yesterday, with tickets in the Domingos lounge. Very impressive, food and set up was fantastic.

You're also able to use the village street pubs in there, which are spot on. You can see why people are very late back for the 2nd half though, they leave the match on the TV's down there so people just stay and watch it while finishing their drinks. In fact, I went down to the toilet on about 70 mins and there were loads still in the pubs on village st, who seemingly had got about 3 or 4 drinks at HT and decided not to bother going back up at all 🤷‍♂️

I was sitting by you

Didn't say anything about any other countries flags. I'm talking about our country and our flag, which is currently being used by racist thugs to intimidate and threaten people.

If you want to be a flag-shagger then by all means, hang it on the front of your own house where it represents YOU alone and let's everyone know exactly what you are.

It shouldn't be allowed in the ground where it represents all of us as a community. Especially at the moment it's embarrassing and inappropriate, I'm sure there are many blue that would agree. As I said in original post, if a Palestine top is not allowed for being 'too political' then the same should apply to this.
Why are you posting this on an everton site? Go to one of them reddit subs and post it there.

Is that Archibald Leitch artwork a flag or a new permanent feature ?

Jokes aside about the noise, that place was loud yesterday at times. Really loud.

Wembley aside it’s surely the most amount of evertonians collectively together in one place for over 40 years? Even at Wembley our allocation can’t be more than yesterday’s attendance?
Great point.

Bramley-Moore enables us to create a brilliant atmosphere and influence games in a way that Goodison just didn't in recent years.

I don't spreken the German but I can't help but feel you're circumventing my request of no flag talk here.
He’s arguing that displaying national flags in stadiums is perfectly normal and acceptable, with reference to it happening in Germany.

The crux of it is if it’s fine for a foreign fan to bring their flag to a game, why can’t the host country.

To summarise: yes, it’s flag talk.

Unless I missed it somewhere else, I think the club missed a beat by not having a dedicated section for flags and singing section, of the top of my head I'm thinking Celtic and Palace, they have dedicated area's when it's pretty much non stop. It adds to the atmosphere, these fan groups we have like 1878 or whatever they are called should really push this. Fund raise for tifos, Flags, get drums, megaphones or whatever needed, I've been to many stadiums in Europe and it's amazing. The bundesliga does it best.

I know we are a reactionary fan base, we need to get mad or score before the decibels lift but I'd be all for a dedicated bunch of scallywags to get the crowd going. Music after goals etc, worth a try

I can`t stand it when there is someone pounding on a drum in an effort to create a bit of atmosphere and the lads on the megaphones do my head in as well. I suppose what some folks think makes a really great atmosphere, another person would be put off by the same. It would be great if we could get an area of the ground making noise more often during the game, but I don`t like the small concentrated sections like they have in Glasgow or at Palace, it looks like they come to have a sing song and bang a drum for 90 minutes, whereas my priority is to watch a football match first and join in the atmosphere second. No doubt if we did set up a section we would have no shortage of scallywags to fill it.

Music after goals... definitely not.

However, the rest I agree with. Although I thought this was the plans for the south stand anyway ie flags (not British/English ones clearly), banners, tifo's etc

TBH I enjoyed my German experience standing in the Home standing area for Augsburg. Do like the idea of a couple of 'cheerleaders' as it were starting chants at the front.
