2025/26 Jack Grealish

why is he to good for us?

we aren’t fn burnley

Well because he was one of the first names on Peps team sheet for their treble win not too long ago. Played in all the big games, finals. His actual ability hasn't diminished in those couple of years.

There isn't a single club in the world that wouldn't benefit from an in form Grealish. That's not to say he can walk into any starting 11 but he's certainly got the ability to play in any team out there.

I don't think that poster was disrespecting us when he said too good for us. It was clearly just a way of saying he's good enough to be standing alongside any other 10 players in the world and not being out of his depth

Never been the greatest goalscorer. Mind you, looking back at highlights, he scored some great goals for Villa, but not a great deal of goals.

But at least there's video evidence that he can score good goals, maybe that'll come back now he's arguably the most confident and free he's been since he was at villa.
I think it might be fear of triggering an injury. There's not an awful lot of power in those shots.

Whatever your views on Grealish, the way he was treated by Pep was totally unjust. To see him enjoying his football again, can only be good for Everton and England if Tuchel can open his eyes.
That is complete nonesense. Pep expects players to be profesional. Grealish by his own admission was less than profesional. He had his chance and blew it. I like Jack as a person, he is genuinely one of the nice guys. But, lets not try and rewrite history and blame Pep for Jack wasting the oppurtonity Pep gave him.

Hope the club looks at trying to come to a compromise with city over a permanent deal in January.

Get him under contract for 4 years

I think the only reason it will be a no go will be due to wages. I think we'd be happy to drop 30/40m on him right now if we could afford his wages.

End of the season he'll still be able to command a wage of 220/240k a week i reckon and that will be too big a burden for us to commit to imo.

Pep is a bully, any player that starts getting more attention then him is set for the exit, he does it so quick half the time you hardly notice it..

He stuck Jack in a 10yrd box and nearly drained his game out of him.
