He's just a player isn't he. First touch is glue, he'll take control of bad passes or long passes in the air and it just takes the pressure off knowing it's not going straight back to the opposition like it would with Doucoure, McNeil or Harrison. Night and day improvement.

You’re whinging that one of our players scored an injury time winner because it wasn’t a shot ..

Very rarely do we get luck so just appreciate and enjoy it when it happens for us

Never been the greatest goalscorer. Mind you, looking back at highlights, he scored some great goals for Villa, but not a great deal of goals.

But at least there's video evidence that he can score good goals, maybe that'll come back now he's arguably the most confident and free he's been since he was at villa.

I'm not sure he was treated unfairly Pep. Well I don't know about his final few months but Pep clearly rated him. He was pretty much one of the first names on the team sheet during their treble run in, playing in the finals etc.

The reality is you only have to look at the City bench every weekend and see the calibre of players that aren't guaranteed a start. Unless you're Rodri or Haaland, you don't just walk into that team and will find yourself on the bench sometimes.
