If you go looking on any fan forum immediately after a defeat you are going to find some ridiculously mutant style opinions (including, from time to time GoT). The skill is not then to hold up the whole of their fan base as “entitled “ etc etc etc.

Absolutely nothing in that tbf. Far worse things happen during set piece marking, I remember a few years back when Steven Naismith tickled Daryl Janmaat's appendage during a corner playing for Norwich and no one else on the pitch paid any notice to it

Hopefully moyes now starts to use the bench more even when winning or losing. If that means garner goes to right back and fresh legs in middle or making other subs. When we have a fully fit squad we have lots of options and people who can play in different positions.

Yeah the first half was awful, but dont take away how good palace are now..

Anyway, glad for the win.
Thought we looked great second half. Alcaraz changed the game when he came on.
However, we need to stop putting ourselves in this position with poor first half performances, it's becoming a bit of habit.

Apparently there was more stoppage time during the 8 minutes of stoppage time than there was in the entire second half vs Liverpool. They make it up as they go.

Moyes played his cards perfectly, he done what everyone wanted to see and we left with 3points in the bag..

He made the changes early, which was good to see, and those changes had a huge impact on the final result. Now if can send a team out right from the start to get a grip on the game from the first whistle instead of looking like we are out of our depth would be the next thing he might sort out over the next few weeks. First half performances at Leeds, RS, yesterday against Palace left a lot of folks wondering what the game plan is the team are being sent out with from the start.
