Tbh I think the refs are just a pretty poor standard overall and you just notice the ones that go against your more, there have been some shocking call this season that even Howard Webb has had to apologize for.
Not sure what Wharton did to get a yellow card when he did and the lack of a card for the punch seems very odd.
Really wish they would take timekeeping off the ref and have a clear independent clock as they do in many sports, think it would help the refs as it is a much faster game than it used to be.
