Barry doesn't help himself by not looking remotely arsed. He's never broken into a sweat for us. At times its laughable. For a major signing it's not good enough. We need to limit his game time to protect his re-sale value.

No of course not. Fans will react when Barry (or Beto) fails to control an easy ball but that's life.

….it doesn’t ‘grow’ by playing him that’s for sure. Likely we lose that game today if he wasn’t withdrawn.

The lad is struggling, he might not even be good enough but you don’t prolong his predicament, you leave him until you see signs that he’s settled and has a desire to play.

It’s a crazy thing to say play poor performing players in the hope they suddenly become effective. You’d be losing lots of football matches.

At this stage the lad needs to be used sparingly, he looks a long way off being anywhere near deserving of game time.

In the Under 23s which he qualifies for he needs to star in those game first IMO & we need to fetch a no 9 from the under 23s who knows how to score too...
