Bad ref decisions - for and against - season 2025/26

I really want some transparency with these minutes added on.

8+ was a lot more than I was expecting anyway but then 4 on top again was ridiculous. 30 seconds for the goal and the VAR check was less than a minute. He should have blown before Coleman came on so I'm not counting that 30 seconds (even tough he ran straight on without delay anyway so shouldn't have contributed).

Then you have RS away. Only +3. All subs came on for both teams. A goal. And just a load of general faffing and timewasting.

Well we were battered for 60 mins but finally Moyes subs pay dividends. Alcaraz excellent and Beto put a shift in. Palace first loss in 20 games.

Officials seemed ok - ref played 12 mins instead of additional 8 and bar an enforced sub the extra 3 mins are a mystery. Got awarded a penalty albeit nailed on. Bar added time no real gripes - though Grealish again taking a hammering with little protection.

I thought the referee was absolutely appalling for the entire game and barely gave a decision in either direction that I agreed with but the amount of injury time was pretty easily justified. Funny how we see things differently.

If he'd gone down like he'd have been shot he would have got a red.

Absolutely shocking (but not surprising) that they deemed it not requiring further attention.
Oh it got further attention all right, the 🔔🔚 running VAR saw nothing wrong either.

Absolute travesty.

NB imo, the contact was barely worth the effort, but it’s the intention / action that should be penalised. Violent conduct, unsportsmanlike behaviour, there’s probably half a dozen justifications.

Definitely a red. Dunc got sent off for similar years before the game got the 'contact sport' taken out of the 'contact sport'.
Dunc nearly caused the lungs of the player to collapse with his punch. The lad hit the deck and was down for ages.

Tarks didn't even seem to notice this one. Perhaps he should have gone down like a sack of spuds
