2025/26 David Moyes

Just absolutely baffled at the suggestions that Alcaraz is the change to make against a team who are sat in defending. He's literally the last one I'd want on in that scenario.

I'd quite literally put McNeil on ahead of him against a defence who are sat deep

Yep. Great call wasn't it?.
Backfired big time.
We are not good enough to rest players at any game.
Plus it killed the momentum, which also took another dent tonight! We’ll likely lose to Palace on Sunday and what started as promising start to the season is suddenly people speculating is Moyes going to be sacked

Just like TFG did at Roma pulling the trigger early

O'Brien got skinned from about 60 minute mark onwards but what was the solution? Switch Garner to right back, drop Dewsbury-Hall to centre mid and play Alcaraz as the attacking centre mid?
We had two RBs on the bench. I think they're both rubbish and that Coleman shouldn't have got a new contract but I was told he was a valuable member of the squad so obviously I was wrong and he should've played tonight from the 60th minute.

I think it is fixable. Will Moyes look to fix it or leave his thumb up his arse? We should have easily won this game. We dominated. We easily could have taken it. But we are shooting ourselves in the foot with this setup and making it more difficult on ourselves.

Maybe we bring in a Charly to play behind the striker. Maybe a Grealish/Dibbles/Ndiaye front 3 is the answer. Maybe we use Ndiaye as a false striker and allow him to work in the tight spaces centrally. Maybe Garner at RB is something we could try. I just want to see us look for answers. It looks too tough for us creatively atm.

Forgot how much Moyes used to wind me up by not changing things or bringing on a sub.
When it was plain to see there was a problem.
That Nuno just told summerville to just run at obrian every chance he got in the second half they doubled up on him, and it changed the flow of the game.
By they time moyes reacted it was to late.
Needs to up his game this season is slipping already.
That's two teams wolves and west ham there for the taking and he hasn't the bollocks to go for it.
Try something different for God sake.

Or, you know, ACTUALLY prioritize a fullback position like he did first go around? I just cannot get how anyone could hear him say "it's not a priority right now" when literally every supporter said "we need a new RB".
