Years catching up with him now. Wants too long on the ball and slows attacks down. Caused Tarkowski’s yellow with a dreadful pass, and sent a few other easy ones astray.
Agreed, sloppy passing, and West ham were just running past him, terrible tonightYears catching up with him now. Wants too long on the ball and slows attacks down. Caused Tarkowski’s yellow with a dreadful pass, and sent a few other easy ones astray.

The midfield 3 wasnt the problem tonight...I just loved his telepathic passes tonight - as if the player he was passing to - had any idea it was coming their way .... a poor game for him Garner a one man midfield ....
It was it tired gaps galore - the new West Ham manager sensed it ....The midfield 3 wasnt the problem tonight...
strangely he looks good only wen we under the coshPoor tonight. Some very sloppy passing
He made far too many sloppy passes last night. Even really easy ones were so called 'hospital passes'.I think people are being a little harsh on him personally. He didn’t have a good game don’t get me wrong, but he had a lot of the ball. He’s not a playmaker so he will make errors when he’s on the ball as much as he was tonight, that’s a tactical issue more than an individual one.
I don’t disagree, but he made too many passes in general that’s my point. Certainly over the first 60/70 minutes I would say he had far more of the ball than any of our other players and that isn’t a good thing. He’s not a good passer of the ball, if you ask him to make 100 passes in a game a fair few of them are going to be sloppy. It’s not a good tactic to have him as the one dictating the play from the middle and he was last night. He made far too many sloppy passes last night.
