Afternoon all, my “mild” excitement at receiving the email with our match tickets this morning has been tempered by the need to download it to the wallet on my phone. This will be a first for me as in all the years I’ve had a smartphone I’ve never needed to use the wallet. This will require the assistance of a willing grandchild who will no doubt require a small payment in return as I don’t have a clue. Also to compound matters Mr G doesn’t have a smartphone can I put his ticket on my phone? Oh for the days of a physical ticket.

Quick question, we have tickets for the Leeds game in January, when will we know if and when they change the game for TV

Flights and accommodation booked we are staying in Renshaw street which is quite central downtown if I remember rightly,

Also not sure whether you noticed but Mag Bay dropped a couple of songs on streaming last week and they're rather good, Definite chill out vibes. Plus (I know I'm mad) I stayed up to 3am Friday watching the girts play a set at All Things Go festival DC and they dropped a couple of new tracks off the upcoming album which I love. Somebody's posted the official stream on YouTube if you get a chance to watch it before it's taken down.

I’m staying a couple of nights for the Spurs game on 25th October.

I picked up the Mag Bay stuff at the weekend and enjoyed. I also thought I had tickets for Flo Ro but that darn ticketmaster site is so misleading. It offers you the chance to select up to 9 tickets then tells you there are none.

I will check out the girls gig tomorrow, planning a reading day at home so the perfect soundtrack.

December and January televised games are due to be confirmed mid October.

Thanks chaps, just don’t want it to go to 12-30 on the Saturday, I have my mates tickets they include food and drink 3 hours before KO, 9-30 am would be a bit harder having a lot of pints but we would manage it

Yes I like Wolf Alice. The new one, Just two girls, is so different to their normal style. Flo Ro are playing a very tiny venue in Belfast, the same one that CMAT played very recently. Intimate is the word for it- The Oh Yeah Centre.

Morning all. It’s been a busy few days and I should have posted this on Saturday, but better late etc. On Saturday I was travelling to Nairn parkrun , 55 minutes up the coast , and listening to Radio5 live. They were doing an interview with the family owned “ The Musical Box” in Liverpool, talking about its origins , family members and they are the longest standing record shop in the UK. It opened about 1947 I think but I missed that bit . Anybody familiar with this shop?
On the way home about an hour later, they were interviewing a Belfast artist Bea Stewart , new to me but likely one that @Armaghtoffee / @Barnfred 55 will know. Every week they do a Fan Song for an artist to sing and she was asked to sing the Jordan Pickford song. Quite made my morning . I know, this is a very random post but heh ho

Morning all. Re: Match tickets - son called last evening with instructions on how to download tickets which ended with me unwilling to do it in case I pressed the wrong button and deleted them and him declaring “for crying out loud, Mother” or something similar. I asked Hannah, 12, if she would help when she called in on her way to school this morning, 30 seconds later it was done. Now all I have to worry about is forgetting phone, no battery etc.
A postscript to the obliterated garden I heard yesterday that the house has been put up for sale, words fail me.
