We'd only go up to 8th even with a win i think. Top 6 already pulling away (although that weirdly includes Sunderland currently).
I'm well aware its still very early days like, id just personally much prefer our trajectory to be upwards, always..

Only 8th is obviously higher than 12th. Not sure about top 6 is pulling away. A win for us and we are 2 points off Palace in 2nd (could be 2points from 3rd depending if Arsenal dont lose)

Agreed. It’s the change in mentality being 8th compared to 15th. The same players approach games differently.
Poor teams are pulling out good results so far this season. They will eventually revert to type and slide backwards, but we need to be beating out of form or factually crap teams this year.
Should have comfortably beaten Villa. Be annoyed if we don’t win this. Talk of mid table or above are pointless if the team hasn’t the confidence or capability to win games like this. Doesn’t matter what position we are now, or where we will be Tuesday. Makes no difference. It’s not about relegation worries. Just try to win every match regardless. Fed up of looking at other teams fixtures.
Thats been half our problem recently, winning just the games we have to. Should be winning every game possible, and this is one of them.

I havent 'crapped the bed' mate. It's still a 5 point/2-win margin gap that's only reduced should we actually win Monday..
I just dont want to see us in the bottom half at all if we can help it.. we've lost enough momentum already as it is.
