Gotta be in it to won it, they say....
I dunno about not getting Europe personally.I cant remember us ever winning one of these cup ties against top flight opposition with a weakened team. We knew exactly how this would play out as soon as the team was announced.
If we are desperate to win then we will never win. These type of games knock the stuffing out of me. Why should I back the manager if he isn't giving us our best chance to win something?
We are never going down this year. Nor are we getting into Europe. So why are we rotating? Why are we resting players, especially our goalkeeper?
It's pretty simple for me. If Moyes isn't prioritising these games then he's not the right manager.
I'm not sure who he is trying to kid thereHe should be ripping them a new arsehole, Christ knows what he was watching second half.
They’re is a bit of luck to win any knock out competition mate, it’s part of the magic of it.
Normal Moyes service has been well and truly resumed these last couple of games.
Honestly. We don’t play till Monday, there was absolutely no need for so many changes. The brass neck on this feller Moyes: "I think in the second half, I thought we played really...we played much better. We made the changes."
Changes that wouldn't have been required if a decent team had been chosen, you spanner.
Bit harsh to be fair. I'm pretty much in agreement with him on Moyes, now Dyche and Martinez, that's a different storybeat it into him, make him feel every thrash of the truth, enjoy it.
I know they have to try and put a positive spin on things but watching the interviewer search for positives on nights like this brings out an unhealthy amount of anger in me.
Moyes knows best...Honestly. We don’t play till Monday, there was absolutely no need for so many changes.
