2025/26 David Moyes

If the first 11 plays badly then it is what it is, can’t be playing B teams though when you’ve not won a trophy in 30 years. What exactly are we resting them for?

The only saving grace is that there’s a new regime in charge now. It will all be getting measured by Kinnear and the Friedkins come the end of the season and the crap we’ve endured for 30 years hopefully won’t be tolerated further.

TFG have spent a lot of money already,
They will want to see progress. Moyes is their tinker man, who’s been replaced by the very good Atalanta manager. That’s what will happen here

what are my plans tomorrow?

oh ye you don’t know

ffs it’s night and day for what we’ve had

we’re out the cup and now moyes should be sacked or will be

HAHAHAHAHAHA

Disappointing tonight but the hyperbole is crazy.

We were literally one of the worst run PL clubs, with the worst owners, most negative manager, playing the worst football, with an ageing and poor squad with no depth like 10 months ago.

Clearly squad depth is still a problem, and tonight has been disappointing but let’s not forget where we were incredibly recently.

We were also playing top flight opposition so even with our first 11 we dont have given right to win.

It’s been 6 games with this ‘new squad’ and we are still missing players. Expectations are through the roof already.
.
My only expectation was that Moyes would play the best side possible to try and work towards us winning our first trophy in 30 years. If he'd done that and still lost, I'd have been looking more at the players.

Shut up you. Moyes out if we don't beat West Ham. Potter in.

And I disagree.
Id imagine Wolves fans said the same with them making 9 changes too.

We've seen this game like 20 times before in cups. It was fairly predictable even for someone like me who is not good at predictions

7 changes is too many. Especially when all your best players are included in those changes.

If it makes you feel better to have a go at me mate when this manager has just let you down, crack on...
I’m not having a go at anyone mate, just pointing out the hypocrisy

I’m as disappointed as anyone for going out tonight but calling for Moyes’ head after 6 games when we’re 10th is being utterly daft

You don’t think they can see progress from where we were when he took the job?
Yes the tinker man did a very gig job at Roma and they still changed him. Don’t kid yourself if there’s a better option out there and there will be, he will be replaced.
I think it will most likely be in the summer though

Purely selfish but I’d be happy if the new owners felt trigger happy this week

I know stability this season is best for the club, but I’d be a lot more invested if I didn’t feel I knew what was gonna happen before it happens because I’ve already seen a decade and more of this manager.

I’ve mainly just been on auto pilot so far, but tonight I’m really sick to the back teeth of him
I'm kind of similar. I don't necessarily want him sacked but like you say we know what we'll get with Moyes so the excitement element isn't really there as he's always been a risk adverse manager by nature. Seeing Coleman ahead of Aznou for instance is prime Moyes. Even seeing O'Brien at right back is prime Moyes even if the options are thin at right back
