Beto is clear for now. It’s early and I’ll give him a chance but just not seeing anything that makes me go “Oo yeh okay then”.

He's had a few nice bits of hold up play but the worrying thing for me is there's no standout attribute you can see he will get his chances from.

Whether it be pace, aerial ability, strength, or deceptiveness. I just don't see it neither.

Has this first half impressed you enough to say he should be starting over Beto?

Barry and Beto are this year’s Lindstrom and Harrison. Whenever one plays, you’d rather it was the other.

I feel like that is how he has been the whole time with us. Dont get at all why so many keep raving about him. (He may come good in time, but so far while with us ive seen nothing that makes me think he will score, never mind get a shot

I think he’s just shocked at the step up. Long term I think he’ll be fine but it’s a steep learning curve. It’d be ideal if we had a reliable option to phase him in/out.

Doesn’t help him playing in a weaker side as well.
