Today’s Football 25/26 Season

The company that bought the tv rights to the prem in north America, whatever they're called paid 3 billion for them, there was a big story around the time that they were demanding a scab game to be played there as part of the package, citing the nfl games that are played in Europe.

It's coming, just a matter of time. I've already seen alot of American fans saying it's their League now on various platforms as most of the owners are from there.

The game we know is being taken away a piece at a time, and the fans of those clubs are so blindsided by massive transfer fees, international fanbases and big moves commercially that they will applaud it into existence
A new cold war fought via football ownership, the dubai boys want games played there, the bariatrics from the states demand games there, imagine what the lawyers will do with non-dom tax affairs because players are in the air more than they are on the grass.

Seems to me like guardiola is just seeing out his months left. 3 or 4 years ago when he knew his side would walk the league he was making little jokes with the interviewer. Now he looks like he is counting down the days to retirement.

Look at the team he had today compared to the team he had with kompany, silva and co. Not even close

So many of their players just fell off at the same time and the replacements are nowhere near the level they had. Still a very good team but not capable of challenging for the title. Even the likes of Bernado Silva who they've chosen to keep is well away from what he was just a couple of years ago.

If they finish well off the pace again this season, I would be surprised if Guardiola sticks around much longer.

5 games in , they haven't dropped a point having not played any thing close to their level and City and Arsenal have dropped points.

I know it's ridiculously early but unless they get a major injury crisis at the back I think it's all over.
It's the midfield that makes their two gloots look good imo.
Hopefully the CL games takes the wind out them.

Personally dont think any other team come near them, so even if they carry this on, have an injury crisis etc, no team is going to put pressure on them if them drop the ball.

Arsenal lack a plan B and creativity when Odegaard doesn't play.
City and Chelsea will be hit and miss.

Those lot will unconvincingly stumble to the title.

What is their level? Because they won the league with a piss poor points total last season, got dumped out of the CL early, pumped by Plymouth on the FA cup too.
