It’s difficult as Barry has shown very little… I know it’s early days.

But win a header or something… maybe show a bit of effort…..
Yep, no drive or determination in the lad at all , very worrying. Beto has been sh1t3 as well but you can argue he sometimes gets into scoring positions and actually enters the box sometimes 😂

It's reached the stage where I'd try N'dayie as a false 9 to get Dibling on the pitch.

Might not work but Beto and Barry aren't up to it at the moment ( if we are going to persevere with a traditional CF it's got to be Barry).

It's what a progressive coach would try. Moyes won't

Barry: better hold up and link up play, and creates space for others with his movement

Beto: better movement in the box and knack for getting in goal scoring positions

However I do think that the more Barry plays, the more his teammates will understand his own patterns of movement, look for him more, and he will score more goals

I'd be playing Barry more

He can’t not back them both, especially after signing one and they are all we have.

Be good if we can play to their strengths instead of smacking the ball at the heads from the keeper or CBs at 200 miles an hour every game.

Think we need to try KDH deeper, get illy, jack and Dibbs playing as an interchangeable three behind Beto or barry, or throw both cfs on 442.

We miss Doucoure - limited as he was from a technical and creative point of view but we miss his presence and workrate in the breakdown mate, both goals yesterday were Norway pissing through our Midfield and exploiting space between the midfield and defensive line. Hopefully Rohl can step up.

As for the two lads I famcy one of the, to get double digits and tge other half again.

I’ve huge faith in Barry…it will take him time to adjust, but he has a rare and eclectic skill mix.

We need to be scouting central midfielders as a priority in my opinion.

What disappointed me about Beto was he never got stuck in and never tried to wind Virgil up. His lack of control, poor coordination, failure to make decent runs were all there as usual but it was the lack of sweat that was missing. He was awful.

I think that Barry has to be fast tracked despite the risks. He has potential and clearly has a football brain- qualities Beto lacks.

I think Rohl might be the one, can’t agree that we’re missing Doucs, his liabilities outweighed his physical abilities, but your right, the midfield never got going until we were two down yesterday.

I’m with you on the forwards - if we get the better footballers on the pitch and play to our strengths we will create chances that Beto and Barry will take. Barry looked sound yesterday imo, and makes things happen that Beto can’t, and I can’t help but not love Beto for his effort and workrate.

Feel like I was in the minority banging on about midfield around the start of the season but it's a bigger weak spot than FB imo (though it's close - midfield is just a more crucial area than fb generally). I love Gana but he can't do it a) forever or b) all by himself, and Garner is a fantastic versatile squad option but that's all he should be. We need to be spending 70m or so on two starting CMs next summer unless Röhl explodes
