2025/26 Thierno Barry

You have a big lanky get of a striker who isn't good enough, and you've got £30m to improve on him.

So you go and buy a completely unproven even lankier get of a striker in exactly the same mould.

Doesn't appear to have been the wisest of decisions tbf.
As Moyes said...we did not have the money to spend 100M on a striker so we invested for the future.

He'll score on Saturday but we'll still lose. He'll be more confident in our next match though.

5 country's in 5yrs at just 22, that's a scary proposition on it's own..

This lad needs to feel welcome and at home..

Patience isn't an easy thing in football, but neither are those stats above..
Perversely, it should make it easier/more likely for him to settle. For young lads moving away from home for the first time it can take a while to even get used to not having their family and friends around them all the time, or their favourite restaurants etc, he's obviously well used to that and adapting to new environments so he's in a better position than most.

Need to see more of him, but first impressions against Villa were the same.

Don't like lanky strikers then, you must have loved Neil Maupay, can I stick with lanky ?
