Yeah, it's a shame, though, that one of our biggest gaps in the squad remains unfilled. Takes the shine off an otherwise very good window.

It’s a clear area of improvement in the next window but it’s not going to make or break our season. We have made massive strides in other more important areas. Players like Grealish, Dibling, KDH and Barry will contribute more to our success than a right back in the coming years. Particularly if our top targets in that area couldn’t be obtained. O’Brien is good enough defensively and Garner is more than competent. The Cult put a midfielder at full back at the weekend too and still spent fortunes on a striker and CB. Most squads have some shortages.
