Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

If teams want to target Jake thats fine with me, he's a rock at the back, fast and great at defending 1v1.

Issue we'll have if he plays there this season is going forwards, doesn't look comfortable hitting the byline and crossing isn't great.

I very much would like us to sign a proper rightback but considering Jake can do a decent job there i don't think it's been anywhere near as high up the list of priorities as a striker, a 10, and still now a right winger and a 6.

I dunno, mate. He is good 1v1 and he is quick, but offers very little going forward. Also, for a lot of the goals we conceded in the 2nd half of last season, he got sucked and was too narrow a lot, which is very common for a CB playing as a fullback.

He should be injury / suspension cover at right back, this window will be tinged with disappointment for me if he is our starting right back from now until Jan.

I thought you'd be happy

Unless something happens tonight, it is unlikely we will have new additions in time for leeds which is disappointing...we seem to take about 2 to 3 weeks per signings right now. So I guess with the time left, and bearing in mind that closer and around deadline day it goes quicker, would be surprised really if we have another 3/4 additions to the squad...perhaps one in the next couple of weeks, and then another one around deadline day based on the last few weeks.
I think we have enough to get a result at Leeds and even Brighton. Better to get the right player at the right time.
