PSR is a looming threat to all/most football clubs, but from next season, if planned, it is being removed for the SCR. Does this give clubs/us more leeway this Summer to do things that PSR might not allow next Summer, but SCR might allow?

I think it would if it was guaranteed to be happening. But as it’s not confirmed, it’s then a risk that you get caught next year if they decide not to change it.

I’m sure the scab 6 have been told whether it’s happening already and everyone else will be informed 2 minutes after the window shuts.

….i never looked this up (honest ).

The squad cost rules (SCR) and top to bottom anchoring rules (TBA) will operate alongside the existing PSR on a shadowing non-binding basis. SCR are similar to Uefa's existing financial sustainability rules, in that they allow clubs to spend up to 85% of their total revenues on squad-related costs.

No idea how the transition from one to the other works.

Agreed. With a long term view I think I'd prefer him to Luiz even? Luiz would settle in a lot faster for this coming season. But I think in 3 years time Hackney would be looked back on as the better buy. I may be massively off here though haha
