If we don't, we will be going into the pre-season with 14 players, so you know, we will see movement.Hopefully we will see movement next week on new signings with it a new financial year

Touchdown, Dan.
“I want ‘Michael Keane will be my primary partner’ written in blood….”A condition is that Jarred wants Holgy as his defensive partner
…always a giveaway seeing which players model the new kit. I thought seeing Jarrod in it yesterday was a positive sign.. also telling there was no sign of DCL perhaps?![]()
This is why if you sign a 6’5” striker who scores nearly all his goals with his head, you sign Tom Fellows.
How can we be the worst team in the ball with one of the worst strikers in the league, yet have top 6 form. The way to add goals are to change where the game is played.
Everton are arguably the worst team in the league when it comes to quality on the ball. In average they manage to keep the ball 8 seconds per possession before giving it away.
When your entire team spends majority of the matches deep into their defensive half it becomes very limited what you can do in 8 seconds.
If I was Jarrod I'd consider Wales as a big FU to and other young England stars playing for what they think of lesser teams not competing in European football. See how long Tuchel keeps his job.

Who says that? He’s jolly good, Fellows.
Technically both areOne is under contract and one isn’t.
Top 6 form? When? Month of June? How can we be the worst team in the ball with one of the worst strikers in the league, yet have top 6 form.
Not even close to the worst team on the ball. Might have lower possession but plenty of worse teams since Moyes came.

Everton were 10th best in the league since Moyes came in. Much due to playing very defensively with a low block. A very strong defense combined with an average attack secured results and points.
But the attack won't be fixed by new recruitment as long as our attackers mostly are tasked with defending 70 meters away from the opponents goal. Most full backs are more often in scoring positions than Everton's wingers.
It's been the same a few seasons now. When Everton win possession, our attackers are 70 meters away from goal, the opponents defenders have a 20 meter head start and its the Everton attackers that are slow. When the same attackers playing for other clubs have shown that there is nothing wrong with their speed.
If we could have more possession, get the teams average positioning 20-30 meters closer to the opponents goal, our attackers would have caused much more problems. And we would have more players in good positions.
