This is not a player to be getting worked up over. He’s a solid fullback with a sketchy injury record, who is nearing the end of his contract. We’re trying to snag him but Fulham aren’t rolling over without a tussle. If he stays at Fulham there will be other options.

Shows what a fraud that Romano guy is, at least. He'll jump on any piece of news and claim it's done deal with his little green checkmarks indicating deals are all but complete. Few days later, "Final decision soon!". Absolute bell-end.

Anyway, Tete would be a solid signing for free, but if he doesn't come I hope we'll be able to bring in a right back for the now and for the future instead, unless we opt for Walker-Peters who would probably be almost as good a free transfer if we're prioritising our funds on attack.
