Indeed and there have been multiple great players who similarly have one strong foot. For most it makes them easier to stop though. My main issue seems to be with players being described as being 2 footed when they’re not. But again, maybe my definition of a 2 footed player is different from others.

I thought that. Its not like we are the first team to bring a few players in. Forest literally brought in 50 players a couple of seasons ago!

This is by no means unprecedented.
Apart from Barry, all of the other players mentioned there in Douglas' piece were PL-based.
You would imagine loans will be later in the window, and domestic signings more expensive generally. Nick Hammond has a huge job to do.
I still don't think they'll get 10 players in, maybe 8 and whilst they seem ready to announce Tete soon after July 1, my gut feeling is that we might not have as many signings in by the end of July as we hope for.
That will make for a lot of frayed nerves.

It’s also not really ‘risky’ because it’s not a choice we’re making, it’s just the position we’re in.
He meant "no one at Everton has done this before" and he was referring to Everton attempting to do 2 medicals in a week and both players sign at the same time.
It's Everton, it simply doesn't happen.

Well, yeah, it's not like they will want to do us any favours. I just hope we don't spend too much time chasing this kid when there will be adequate alternatives out there and probably for less money.
