Transfer Rumour Kyle Walker

Players don't want to sign for many clubs with Madrid and Barca and maybe United as an outsider. It's about money pure and simple. Saudi proved that.
Idk man, it’s gotta be a little more complicated than that.

One of the things about money - past a certain point, it doesn’t matter any more.

For those who can possibly achieve it, it’s still gonna be about winning things as well.

For the rest, of course they’re going to take the financials into account - it’s a very short career after all.

People saying he is finished yet happy to sign a 36 year old Defensive Midfielder who is off for a month in the middle of the season.

I don't want to sign Walker BUT and this is the big one, his form died under Guardiola and a Man City team which play NOTHING like us.

Walker would offer more than what we have, you can't deny that fact however I think his wages stop his move.

He will pop off to Turkey so don't worry about this

It might well be. I genuinely think money drives the decision first and foremost. Then the league, then the club. The desire to play in a brand new stadium probably way down the decision making factors I suspect. Remember none of them are fans. It's a short career and money is king.

Yeah I can see that the new stadium will be well down the list, but I kinda hope that we are selling “the project” with the aim of actually competing for honours from now on also.

I think we can take it as given that the cash we can offer is competitive anyway - if anything, we’ve been overpaying for (ahem) talent in the recent past, as we all know.

You're comparing the season Gueye had to the season Walker had? I'm not sure that washes.

Having said that, I'm not exactly thrilled with signing a 36 year old MF, especially if its 2 years, but I'd bet Gueye would be a more important player for Everton than Walker would this upcoming season.

Are suggesting the school of science doesn’t play beautiful tiki taka football?
Preposterous.

He knows absolutely nothing. I dont know why anyone listens to him. He may have a contact at Everton but that contact must think yeah i'll just go to the usuals rather than Al for ACTUAL news.

Im sure he's a good hearted fella, but hes a massive attention seeker and not very informed on football/Everton.
