I’d be fine with Walker for a season given that:
1) I trust Moyes to not sign idiots or crocks
2) I trust us to not offer stupid wages right now given the way we’ve negotiated contracts so far this summer

If Moyes is meticulous with looking into player background and character, as they say he is, then he won't touch Walker with a barge pole. If he does sign him, then clearly his standards have dropped.

If you only signed players based on the fact they didn't cheat on their other half you literally have no squad.

The one thing I find a little off about this link is that all the major outlets reported it at the same time. For that reason, I would not be surprised if this were the workings of his agent, rather than an actual transfer deal.

Then why get rid of Young ? wages were a lot cheaper, but turned out to be a decent signing. For the life of me I can't work out why we've done this. Why did AC Milan get rid after one season ? Surely there are younger better right backs out there, just lazy scouting in my view. I hope I'm proved wrong, I really do, tell me why it makes sense Dave.

Assuming Citteh pay half his wages, then I don't see a massive problem with signing him for a season. Gives us more time to line up a long-term prospect, and he's capable of doing a job still.

He was absolutely abysmal for AC during his loan. If KWP or Tete are the other options on a free, Walker should be at the last option.
