McNeil scored four and assisted eight goals in 21 matches. That's a very respectable return. Without that knee injury he'd been looking at something like seven goals and 13-14 assists. And he get assists from open play as well. He is a good passer, good vision and works hard. Main issues are lack of pace and total one-footedness.

Mc Neil is far from an issue for us in this window. Shouldn't even be discussed as he's more than capable as a starter and at worst a great squad player.

This 100%, he will get plenty of game time, Moyes isn't a mug and doesn't play favorite's, so if he under performs he wont play as much, if he progresses with the team, which he has the ceiling to do.....great.
