Right. I know I'm gonna earn universal opprobrium with this, and be despised as a grammarian fanatic, (and I have no disrespect at all for you, mate), but it's 'shoo in', rather than shoe. I guess it's because you can just gesture and say 'shoo' and who or whatever will do what you want. I know it's a bit OCD of me, but I see it loads and it invariably makes me grind my teeth.
