You're telling me. I was sitting watching thinking the Oilers/McDavid haven't done anything for like 10 minutes offensively and then that. I know it was on the power play, but the saucer pass from McDavid was incredible......

There are a lot of of stoppages but then you also get long 5+ minute stretches of intense action with no pause. I have to watch standing up sometimes because it’s too intense for me.

There are also breaks specifically for ads in the middle of the period so if there hasn't been an icing that gets called as well.

These are tight games and it's the very end of a long season so they're probably gasping.

Yeah I understand they'll be knackered but I'm like ahhh I was just getting into that haha, should be a rule that goalie has to release puck or can only hold it so many times per period so the game flows better

Yeah I love it when there's a good few minutes without a break and it's end to end with loads of strong tackles and shots etc

I don't know anything about Robertson rumors, or at least I've actively avoided all rumors since the WCFs ended

But I do like Robertson and hope he stays, even if he has chicken legs

They need the cap space and some better roster balance. There’s enough scoring but their defense after Miro, Harley, and Lindell is very weak. Edmonton really feasted on those lower pairs.

I just wanna bring back Goalies going into the corners and get rid of their quadrant aka “safe space” .. was well better watching them go for the puck, get crunched and panic skate back to the net.
