Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

Certainly sounds like he has the character of a Moyes type player and has undoubted leadership ability but could Knight be potential replacement/successor to Gueye or are they like "night and day"?

We’ve just tried to pay 30 mil for a striker and you’re now crying about having to buy in the bargain basement
Hysterical
£30m is a lot to spend on one player. If we want a good level striker we will need to pay more. We also need to sign about half a squad. So, no. We won't be paying top dollar for players. £30m isn't a lot for a striker. We paid about that for Beto. Delap was only so cheap because of a release clause. At that price it would have been stupid not to try.

Stop being such an objectionable smart arse. But, I imagine with the way you conduct yourself that that's totally beyond you. As I said, stick me on ignore rather than mocking me and generally being a nasty piece of work. You could totally have ignored me if you didn't want to engage. But, no, you like to prod and provoke. Which is exactly what I was talking about in my previous post about people using this forum to be nasty, condescending or mean-spirited to others.

He is decent at that level. Gets through a lot of work as far as I can see. But would be surprised if he can make the step up. Maybe he can, but a friend who lives in Bristol and occasionally watches City doesn't seem to think so 🤷
