That's probably about what will happen.
We won't have a budget for 10 players but will have to try for 8 I think.
Excluding Alcaraz perhaps:
1 x 30m
4 2 x 12-15m
2 x loans
1 x free/cheap GK backup.
Loans will be critical but I think Moyes will limit them and it's harder than before to get the quality in, as we've seen.
It will be hard to get quality in at those fees generally. But then it won't be hard to replace Lindstrom, Broja, and Harrison's output either.
If we get the age profile right then at low fees should players underwhelm they will still retain a lot of their value if they have to return to The Championship or abroad.
I know there is amortisation too but we can only go on the quoted value of a transfer when it's done. I don't expect us to be signing players for a total book value of more than £100m.
