Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

Digging up old links to pretend they were real in the first place. Grifting 101.
Other people will now use that and word it slightly differently and before you know it it’s “fact”.
Moyes wants “robust” players, he said it himself. He won’t be interested in a fella whose legs fell off the very second he moved a few hundred miles south.
In fairness the tackle that crocked him was awful. But, he's not all that. Celtic eyes must've lit up when BHA wanted to pay that fee. That said, it's rare Tony Blooms data falls short. Difficult one to judge.

Know little about Diomande but that versatility is appealing. Would be a pretty modest fee surely.

178 appearances in Denmark and Scotland at age 23 would suggest he is at least robust.

The step-up is always a gamble but if we want to get enough players in, this is probably the type of profile and fee Moyes will be working within.

Still managed 2 goals and 2 assists in 11 starts and 11 sub appearances. They overpaid but he does have a fair amount of quality about him. That tackle clearly ruined his debut season

Regardless - his best position is the one we’ve just signed Alcaraz for so I don’t see the point signing a more expensive option when the quality is similar
