Today’s Football - 2024/25 Season

3 crap unentertaining European finals
a little harsh, the spurs final was a fiasco of a shambles. almost a match of who wanted to lose most.

we got goals in the other finals, david and goliath in the intertoto or whatever, and the dawn of a new age tonight, this is the end of Lewandowski and cr7 and messi and a few others. New stars are coming to the fore, and so are the pepsi contracts and boot deals.

Goals alright but going in one way traffic mainly

Football does need a hard reset.

It's never going to happen, though.
To be honest it's only due to it being our last season at GP and our recent relegation battles I've had any interest in watching games. I just find it all depressing, no team should lose 5-0 in a Champions League Final. I'm probably going to start going to non league games next season and completely ignore major leagues. What's so enjoyable in watching RS win pretty much all their home games, Bayern cruising to title, PSG cruise to title.

Add VAR into the mix as well...

Happy official end of season all.

And for the first time in years I am sad to see the season end 😞

These past lot of years have been so stressful toward the end I just wanted it over to enjoy the summer weekends without worrying about EFC and kicking every ball watching the likes of Burnley, Leeds, Leicester, Luton or Blades play on TV and willing the opposition to score.

Now the summer weekends are stretching as boring as they used to be for me in the close season,

Roll on August…:pint2:

That PSG side is something else.

Needless to say it’s refreshing to see a style of football that’s so fluent and gung-ho. Gone are the days of the boring tika-taka.

Really happy for Enrique the guys a top top coach.

It's a slap in the face.

I just love watching the game. I've loved it since I was ver young and football is such a big part of my life. And while I'm sure that the game's been dirty in some way for a long time, this is just a whole new level of perversion.

Will I stop watching though? Of course not.
