Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

….whether Branthwaite leaves or not will not be down to TFG or David Moyes, it’ll most likely be down to Branthwaite.

If Branthwaite wants to leave, he’ll go. Thats generally the way of things in the modern game. I’d be more confident about him wanting to stay had he signed a new deal. There’s always the possibility that he’s eyeing a Bosman, very nice for him if he is.

I’ll personally be surprised if he’s here next season mate.

I think if the threshold was high for the club to keep him and the player to stay a new contract would have been signed before now - not that, that means much, but neither the club or player seemed interested in the wage bump or the club with the cost of the extra leaverage - so that indicates to me both parties are resigned and accepting.

Hopefully I’m wrong.

…yep, it’s a concern he’s not signed an improved deal.

If Chelsea’s interest is genuine then I wouldnt be suprised to see them make an offer for Branthwaite which could be worth up to 80 mil with probably a sell on fee agreed as well. I don’t think we would reject that offer.

I’d say 80m is about the right amount.

Not many clubs are able to reject those kinds of offers.

Stones put in a transfer request and didn’t go, not set in stone he goes if he wants to, it will just be a decision for the club knowing he won’t sign a new deal and do they gamble and wait another season

Nice for us too, he's got at least 3 years left on his contract.

Garnacho and Mainoo both expected to leave. They are the type of United rejects we should be after
According to a lot of reports, Mainoo is likely to leave because United are unwilling to match his demands of over £150k a week for a new contract.

Garnacho is a bad egg imo, look at how his attitude has been this season, and even in their recent post-season games - pretty shocking. He's on about £50k at the moment, but obviously would deem himself to be worthy of matching their top earners' salaries on a new deal.

Swerve the pair of them. The only United 'reject' we should have gone for was McTominay.
