Fellaini is world class and now I believe world class....

Jelavic may well become a world class poacher...he reminds me of inzaghi but more of an all round game.

Baines -- World class left back

Heitinga -- Needs a top partner next to him and a right back who is a bit better than Neville/Hibbert

Fellaini's all round game is second to none.....I can't think of any other midfielder with such good stamina, ball control, player awareness, heading ability and one touch skill in the league.

On top of that his desire and will to win is fantastic for a player lumbered with having such poor quality limited players around him since he signed.

With Heitinga and Baines in defence he has 2 players who pass the ball on the deck to him.....with Gibson he has someone who lays it off to him and keeps the ball ticking along.

Pienaar and Jelavic are the only 2 attacking players we have on the same wavelength....


To summarise with an example, if Alex Nyarko passed the ball to Fellaini, he would control it....if Stuart Barlow had a shot on goal it would end up being trapped by Fellaini.

Jela will score goals cos thats what he does
Baines is solid but not even first choice in England let alone anywhere else in the world
Heitinga is a battler but got no composure or skill on the ball.

Maybe the part about trapping a Stuart Barlow shot was a tad extreme.....but yes I think IF he could improve his positioning over the next couple of seasons (its already very good)....improve his long range passing game (which we see little of) and occasionally go in hard and win the ball (instead of always shepherding the player away or toe poking it) -- which I dont think he does as he's afraid of a card,,,,,,

He would be the best in the world.....still only 24.
