Very good at what he does, clearly a fantastic teammate and good pro, but we shouldn't be building a side around him unless the expectations are that we're going to be giving possession away regularly.

Exactly. There’s nothing wrong with him as a squad player to come on in certain situations or play in certain games but if he’s first choice and starting every game next season then we’ve not really moved forward.

Some Sheff Utd fans make the same point here. Some other interesting points too.

The same forum has a really cool player ratings system, so after every match they vote 1-10. From 4019 player ratings on that forum last season, he averaged 6.67 out of 10.00. Consider they only lost 10 from 46 games, too.

I've watched them a fair bit as well, just don't rate him. His type of role in a team near the top of that league does him a lot of lifting.

Nobody has made a signing yet....just talk of derals and the Trent one, which still has not been "done".

Its flapping and panic for NO reason, other that to get yourself or themselves worked up.

We don't even know the final list of staying or leaving yet.

this. I'm under no illusions that if someone offers enough we will sell and that kind of profit - just on a PSR front gives us some serious room to rebuild the squad. Chelsea aren't United. If they want him, they'll pay whatever it takes.

Dont feel qualified to give you a full scouting breakdown, but from what I see he is agile, fast enough, tough, skilful and can tackle, pass, cross, shoot and dribble better than almost any player in our squad. There's tons of YT videos, here's a good one...
