2024/25 Tim Iroegbunam

I think his best performances were at the beginning of the season when he impressed a lot of fans—- I think Dyche was manager at the time, the doubts about him came after January ——when Moyes was in charge. I don’t think either manager was responsible for how he performed, time will tell how good he is.
I remember it a bit differently. I take your point it was down to him. Sort of feel when he first came he was still in phase of playing his best play - and show some nice stuff. Dyche of course (and Moyes since) haveemanded more of other things and reckon he looked out of sorts as a result, before the injury. That's on him to turnaround.

His position is definitely further forward, his pressing late in games has been effective at times...coupled with his ability to drive one is a good mix. I worry about how/if he ill ever develop further back in the midfield...which is where Dyche and Moyes have used him.

He was obviously brought in as a bit of a shady PSR swap deal with Dobbin. I wouldn't be surprised to see him move on, think Moyes will want an upgrade or 2 in that midfield.
Moyes definitely needs more CMs but not necessarily at Tims expense.
Has the potential to come good and backup in meantime

Well no I didn't blame one man at all, because I'm not 3. Our problems at the time were down to many different issues, and Keane was undoubtedly one of them. All I was saying was that the dropping of Iroegbunam wasn't random, and anyone who actually understood what they were watching and didn't just get blinded by the odd slide tackle or good pass could see that he was another of the problems. Hardly unexpected when you're a young, inexperienced lad who was bought at least in part as a PSR swindle so it's not a massive issue, just saying there were clearly some quite big flaws in his game which will need to be addressed if he's going to kick on.
I didn't think he got dropped, maybe for 1 or 2 games like other Dyche non-favourites did. He got injured. I agree there was a number of non-firing players responsible at the start but then again I blame Dyche for the ridiculous pre-season preps

Really, not Harrison Armstrong??
Yeah really, although I'm also excited to see how that pans out too. 18 year olds are just so much harder to judge, I'm more confident Iroegbunam will be very good than Armstrong. That's a reflection on my football-watching abilities more than their football-playing abilities though!

I’d be amazed if Tim has a better career, I have seen nothing to get excited about and I actually don’t think he will be at Everton in 12 months , city and arsenal all looking at Armstrong last year and just looked really good in a team fighting relegation and trusted by the manager to play every week.

Show's how bad the football we played was, when you can't remember who the manager was at the time. Great for insomniac's tho.

My recollection is that he played well at the start of the season but ran out of gas later in the games which led to mistakes which cost us goals. He should ideally have been subbed at that point or introduced later.

Think he could be really good but Moyes isn’t going to want to risk him giving the ball away in dangerous positions so how does he get the experience. Think he should go on loan for a year if we have enough bodies in the squad.

He had good moments under Dyche but didn’t have the fitness to play more than 50/60 minutes and was clearly lacking experience in his decision making. Hopefully he can add to both and be a decent player for us

Think he's staying with the First team next season?

Just coincidence that we never won a game when Keane started then when Branthwaite returned we won. Therefore, my blame is more on Keane than Tim

He showed glimpses and has obvious physical ability, but I don't agree that he had a good start to the season. He showed potential.
