The New York Times says that negotiations are progressing well and they expect to have it completed before the end of the May. It also cites the price at €15m (~ £12.5m).

I think this is accurate, and all the various "reports" on less reputable sites and aggregators (£12–18) comes down to confusing currencies or doing the exchanges the wrong way around.

Everton officials are in talks with their Brazilian counterparts over finalising the transfer on the terms originally agreed, and have until Saturday to sign Alcaraz at that price.
