Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

From Sheffield United, I think we should consider their left back Harrison Burrows.

23 years old who moved during last summer from Peterborough where he was named Player of the Season and Supporter Player of the Year.

His disallowed goal in the Playoffs meant he missed out on the Prem but he has a lot of what we want in a full back:

Why do all modern footballers have last names as first names?

I think James Garner has lots of potential and now he’s had a good run of games his confidence will be back and will develop.
It also helps that we have a more attacking manager.

Was impressed with the video of Woltemade on here yesterday.. think he’d be a great buy for the 10 role. Would he be better than Alcaraz there? Can we afford both?
I reckon Woltemade is probably a better fit for Moyes.. could we be waiting on answer from him before agreeing Alcaraz? So many moving parts and irons in fires. The first domino to fall is vital to the overall transfer strategy. For about £70m we could get Alcaraz, Woltemade and Delap.. that would be great value compared to one Dominic Solanke!!
Shame we also need money for a right winger.. and a midfielder.. a right back and a left back!
.. oh yeah, not forgetting a goalkeeper!!
Going to be a loooong summer lads

That Antony call isn't that bad a call, IMO. He had rough time in his civil life at the time. Those issues have since been resolved and he has been absolutely brilliant with Betis since going there on loan. Betis won't be able to buy him but they would like to. They were in freefall in the league and with Antony they finished sixth and Antony was instrumental in getting them into the Conference League final.

Problem for buyers is Manchester United would need 32.5m to break even with PSR.

Sounds like he was depressed at ManU: https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/articles/clyg6x0rjdeo.

FFS, the transfer news on Google is full of journalists harping on about how Everton are so crap that they can offer other team's cast-offs guaranteed first team football. It wrecks my head!

Heard a whisper that Villa could look to offload Ramsey for around £50m, if Branthwaite is on his way out for around £80m (if), then could a deal be done which in effect is a £30m outlay from Villa to Everton?

He's a left midfielder that is inferior to Ndiaye. I can't see us being in for him.

I think we need to stay away from players like Antony and Grealish. We'll be making mistakes again. I don't want to be a club that players use to try and find their form again. We have to stay away from the so called big names

Where is the Branthwaite noise coming from ? Sure you've not just made sh*t up?

He's far superior to Ndiaye. Although, I preface that by saying I haven't seen a great deal of Ndiaye.
